The Fine Art Society presents an exhibition of works from across the nineteenth century. From Romanticism to Realism, Orientalism to Naturalism, these works illustrate the profound aesthetic and topical shifts which took place over the course of the most tumultuous century in the history of art. Works on display range from monumental landscapes to intimate watercolours and represent some of the most renowned British and French painters from this era. Artists featured include Leon Augustin Lhermitte, David Roberts, George Richmond, James Ward, Gustave-Paul Cluseret, James Baker Pyne, Frederick Goodall, and Sir James Jebusa Shannon.
