John Byrne: Then Till Now
John Byrne: Then Till Now was a small exhibition of paintings, drawings and prints by John Byrne, dating from the late 1960s to today. Early works included watercolours signed 'Patrick' and a hand painted guitar from 1968. Robbie Coltrane was depicted as Danny McGlone from the BBC's Tutti Frutti, written by Byrne. More recent works explore noir, rock'n'roll and teddy boy culture, capped by a self portrait painted this year.
